We’re a week away from the March Madness national championship game, and Loyola has a shocking amount of believers.
I threw out a Twitter poll to the public last night about who they thought would win the whole thing. Notice what I wrote in the previous sentence. I didn’t say who they wanted. I said who they thought would win. That’s a big difference.
Currently, after more than 1,000 votes, Loyola is getting more than 30 percent of the votes.
The Final Four is officially set. Who are you picking to win it all?

I’m cheering for Loyola as hard as anybody out there, but that seems to be a lot of support. I mean, they’re beating everybody other than Villanova. Seems a bit crazy.
Look, I’m all about Sister Jean. All about her and the Ramblers. I hope they do pull it out because it’d be one of the coolest sports stories we’ve ever seen.
Do I expect Loyola to beat Michigan and then win the championship? No, I don’t, but I’m not against the idea at all. Nobody thought they’d even get past the first game, and now they’re 80 minutes away from winning the whole thing. This is why we love March Madness.
