Former Disney Channel star Caroline Sunshine has joined President Donald Trump’s administration as a press assistant, according to the White House.

Sunshine was an actress in the Disney Channel show “Shake It Up” from 2010 until 2013. But, for the last few years, Sunshine has been working various internships in politics, including a White House internship and with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, CNN reported Wednesday.

The 22-year-old former Disney star reportedly received the job after applying to the position through the White House’s website.

“Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern. In college, she was involved with the American Enterprise Institute and an active member of her school’s Model United Nations team. Prior to her internship at the White House, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party,” White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters told CNN in a statement.
