Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker warned the GOP that they could be in trouble after a liberal judge won a Wisconsin Supreme Court race Tuesday night.
Rebecca Dallet, a liberal who did not run as a Democrat but was backed by the state’s Democratic Party, beat conservative judge Michael Screnock in the state’s Supreme Court race. Walker, a Republican, endorsed Screnock.
Dallet won the election, making her the first liberal who is not an incumbent to be elected in 23 years to the court, CNN reported.
After the results were announced Walker sent out several tweets, criticizing Democrats and warning Republicans of the risk of a “#BlueWave.”
Tonight’s results show we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI. The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred — we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let’s share our positive story with voters & win in November.

“Big government special interests flooded Wisconsin with distorted facts & misinformation,” Walker tweeted, saying he would be targeted next. He urged Republican voters to “make sure a #BlueWave of outside special interest money” will not effect them or their believes.
Big government special interests flooded Wisconsin with distorted facts & misinformation. Next, they’ll target me and work to undo our bold reforms. We need to keep moving #WIForward & make sure a #BlueWave of outside special interest money doesn’t take us backward.

President Donald Trump, who Walker endorsed, won the state by less than one percentage point in the 2016 presidential election.
Walker is up for is up for re-election to a third term in the fall and asked for donations after Screnock’s loss Tuesday to “stand against the flood of outside money,” which Walker says is headed towards Wisconsin.
