A very unlikely character has come to Conor McGregor’s defense, after the former lightweight champ found himself in a heap of trouble for bashing in the windows of a UFC bus.

His future with UFC isn’t clear; Dana White has expressed extreme disappointment in McGregor, and it doesn’t help that he was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief on Friday morning.
It seems like most people are distancing themselves from McGregor, and for good reason. The guy has gotten death threats from the Irish mob, may or may not have rampantly cheated on the mother of his child, was just stripped of his UFC lightweight champion title, and is embroiled in a very public feud with rapper 50 Cent. It’s probably safe to say that Conor McGregor is a swirling black hole of drama.
But there’s one guy in the rap game who isn’t giving up on the Irish sensation.
Former domestic abuser Chris Brown is sticking with Conor McGregor through thick and thin.
“We all get crazy sometimes,” he told TMZ on Thursday night.
Yikes. Not exactly what you want to hear coming from a guy who beat his girlfriend so badly she was hospitalized and threw a chair through a window after an interview about said abuse went poorly.
If Chris Brown really wanted to rehabilitate his image, he’d condemn this incident immediately. He’d moral grandstand all over that TMZ reporter and tell him how appalled he was to see such a shocking demonstration of violence.
And if I’m Conor McGregor, I’m going on a very public rant/tweet storm/Instagram live broadcast about how violent Chris Brown is and how he would never dare going as far as the singer once did.
The world does not need a Chris Brown-Conor McGregor alliance right now. I don’t think we could handle it. The entertainment world is already teetering on the brink of destruction after Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan split. One more bombshell and fans might just melt into a puddle.
