Yale University has invited a rapper who sings about graphic sex to be part of its upcoming Spring Fling event this month, according to The College Fix Wednesday.

The move to host female rapper Elizabeth Eden Harris — who goes by the name of CuppcakKe — as one of this year’s performers has drawn both criticism and support from students at the university over her explicit lyrics.

Many of CuppcakKe’s lyrics deal specifically with erotic acts and are laced with obscenities. Some of the songs that have the most views on sites like YouTube include songs entitled “Deep Throat” and “Doggy Style.”

When asked by the Yale Daily News, Cuppcakke said she “does not give a fuck” whether people were upset with her appearing at the event and explained that “the people of Yale know exactly what they booked me for.”

A recent article by Pitchfork labeled her the “raunchiest” rapper out right now, telling readers the songs aren’t for “prudes or moralists.”

The Spring Fling celebration takes place April 28 on Yale’s old campus and is free to Yale students.
