Larry Nassar’s former boss at Michigan State University allegedly paid female students $100 to appear nude, according to a court motion Wednesday.
William Strampel, Nassar’s former boss and the former dean of Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, is accused of sexually assaulting five women, including hiring two women as nude exam models. The two women allege that Strampel hired them to work nude as he gave them breast and pelvic exams in private but also in front of medical students.
One of the women alleges that Strampel manipulated her to become a nude exam model after she asked him how to get into medical school. This woman claims that Strampel took her into a private room and made lewd comments about her body. He allegedly told her that he liked “that she did not have any pubic hair” in the court filing, Detroit News reported.
The other woman claims that Strampel hired her for $100-per-hour as an exam model in 2002 but she stopped after he told her that it made him “turned on,” prosecutors said, according to NBC News. The former dean also allegedly told the woman that he was “beginning to get hard” when giving her the exams, Lansing State Journal added.
In addition to the new allegations, Strampel is also accused of molesting and harassing female medical students. The former dean is charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and was arrested in March. Strampel will attend a preliminary hearing in June.
