Donald Trump Jr. said in a Monday interview with Laura Ingraham that the media hysteria surrounding his father is only helping him in the long-term.

Trump Jr. elaborated on the work that his father has done, stating that people “see it in their paychecks. They’re starting to see it in the economy.”
“I think what they’re also seeing is sort of the hysteria from the media and from the left,” he continued before claiming that ideologies are becoming more radical and that the media in particular is becoming increasingly progressive.
“I think reasonable, rational people in this country, they’re not interested in that,” Trump Jr. explained. “They don’t get it.”
“I think the hysteria is only helping.”
When discussing Republicans who oppose his father, Trump said, “there’s plenty of people even on our own side who don’t want Trump to succeed.”
“They focus on the comma on page 12,496 of some obscure policy bill that no one’s going to read rather than candidate recruitment.”
