I have this set of SONGMICS adjustable bar stools and I absolutely love them at my kitchen counter. They’re stylish, match pretty much any space, and incredibly functional. And for only $120, you can get a set of two, and that’s an absolute steal considering other brands with less features.

There are a couple aspects about the stools that sold them for me. First, they’ve got backs and sides. Those little swivel stools without any backs are incredibly uncomfortable to sit on. You feel like you can never truly relax. These stools are different. They feel as though you’re sitting in an actual chair, and you can lean back and rest your arms. A meal at the kitchen counter becomes a lot more appealing.
I also like is that they’re adjustable. So, you can move the stool up or down easily with the level depending on your height needs. This is especially great if you’re still moving around, as different apartments and houses have different standards for countertops. It also means that they can serve multiple functions in your home. You can have them at the kitchen counter, but then during the summer when friends come over have them at a high top on your back patio.
