To commemorate Memorial Day, we celebrate those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States.

From Historical Associates:

“Here the story is seen and told of the famous World War II Marine Raiders, the first and most famous commando-type outfit ever formed by the U.S. Marine Corps. The Raiders provided fast, hard-hitting assault units designed to inflict surprise strikes.”

The Raiders were created during World War II by President Franklin Roosevelt.

One thing emphasized at Raider Hall is the martial arts skills of many Marines. Some may not know that martial arts are featured heavily in the Corps, but in fact many Marines are very skilled at self-defense.
