There’s a place to go if you’re feeling badly about all the things President Donald Trump has tweeted about Canada over the last few days. It’s #ThankCanada, where Americans can go and expound on all the good things the Great White North offers.
David Wild started the hashtag that was trending on Monday and Tuesday, according to CTV News.
My Fellow Americans, let’s all #ThankCanada for things we love they’ve brought to our lives. I’ll start: #ThanksCanada for @NeilYoung, @SCTV, @JoniMitchellcom, @Drake, #LeonardCohen, @celinedion, @KITHOnline. The Pursuit Of Happiness featuring @moeTPOH. Sometimes the contributors were unrestrained in their passion for Canadians, such as Herb Arndt, who tweeted:
“We REAL Americans Love You , and are so ashamed of the Orange menace and His complicit bunch occupying Our Government ! Please don’t hold that degenerates actions against Us all !!”
But some people want to be clear that while they might want thank Canada, they aren’t thankful for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as Color Me Red tweeted:
“#ThanksCanada As long as a globalist like Justin Trudeau is Prime Minister, I will never return to the place of my birth. My Dad is buried in a military grave in Canada. So many Canadians gave their lives, for what? A pretty boy PM with no back bone? Trudeau disgusts me.”
