Protesters gathered outside a school in Upstate New York yelling at Ivanka Trump about migrant children that have been separated from their families as she arrived for a roundtable Monday afternoon.

The protesters gathered outside the school to condemn the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” policy of separating families at the border who get caught illegally trying to enter the United States.
As her motorcade passed, protesters screamed, “Shame!” and, “What about the children?” according to Syracuse.com.

Ivanka Trump went with Congressman John Katko to a discussion on education and vocational programs at the Institute of Technology at Central High School in Syracuse, New York.
The people protesting also targeted Katko holding up signs decrying his roll in the separation of families.
President Trump signed an executive order last month to end the policy but the federal government has been unable to reunite every separated family so far, but it’s still unclear exactly how that will happen.
