American and Russian presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are meeting Monday in Finland.
Hundreds of journalists were on hand to cover the photo ops and press conference between the two leaders. Sky News reporter Mark Stone caught a moment in the handshake photo op in which he says Trump can be seen winking at Putin.
Very awkward body language… but @realDonaldTrump did offer Vladimir Putin a wink. @SkyNewspic.twitter.com/mQur4dzReI

The footage of the alleged wink sent left-wing Twitter into full conspiracy mode. Verified users tweeting that the wink makes Trump “submissive” to Putin.
“Papa, what does it mean when a grown man winks at another grown man?”
“That further tampering with our democratic electoral process will not be tolerated, son.”https://t.co/08vY224d4O

Oh my god. Trump looks like he just got schooled by his teacher. The shoulders hunched over, hands in lap. Could he be more submissive? https://t.co/zQlWDAIMAX

When was the last time a US President winked at the leader of a non US ally country? https://t.co/KS5IHFurkw
