CNN’s Jim Acosta shared some footage via Twitter on Saturday that showed his interactions with Trump supporters last week in Tampa weren’t all negative.
“Taking selfies with Trump supporters in Tampa,” Acosta wrote. “Really enjoyed talking to some of the folks at the rally and hearing their concerns. As I told many of them.. we can’t do the news just for the Republicans and Trump supporters. We have to do the news for all Americans.”

The video shows Acosta posing for a selfie and even donning a hat from a Trump supporter.
On Tuesday, Acosta shared what he called a “sad scene” at the rally where he got heckled by Trump supporters.
Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa. I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt. We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy. pic.twitter.com/IhSRw5Ui3R

“Wolf, just to give you a sense of what’s happening right now, you can hear there is a chorus of boos and other chants from this Trump crowd here in Tampa, Florida there, saying things like, ‘CNN sucks,’ ‘go home,’ and ‘fake news,’” Acosta told Wolf Blitzer on air Tuesday. “Wolf, obviously all of those things are false.” (RELATED: Acosta Whines That Trump Rally Crowd Hates Him)
