On the Friday edition of The Daily Daily Caller Podcast, we sit down with former independent counsel Ken Starr to discuss his new book, “Contempt: A Memoir of the Clinton Investigation,” a fascinating look at what it was like to be inside the political and media hurricane of corruption that was the 1990s.

Watch the show above, or listen below:

Former federal judge Ken Starr was appointed to investigate a corrupt land deal involving the President of the United States, his wife, and many of their closest associates. What seemed like a simply dive into banking irregularities and graft quickly evolved into a much bigger investigation that would lead to the impeachment of a president.

Everything with what was a routine investigation changed when a phone call came into the office from Linda Tripp, former assistant to Vince Foster, with a wild story of the president, an intern, and perjury. When those allegations surfaced, everything changed. The White House unleashed everything it had to destroy Starr and his staff. What was it like inside that hurricane? Find out by watching or listening to the show.
