Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball may have a famous new teammate, but it’s his brand new tattoo that’s grabbing headlines today.
The most successful of the Ball brothers (so far) showed up to Lakers media day on Monday to debut his much bulkier physique — and a massive new sleeve tattoo. (RELATED: SHOCKING: THE BALL BROTHERS ARE NOT MAKING BIG BALLER MONEY IN LITHUANIA)
In a series of photos posted to Ball’s Instagram, the basketball star showed off his ink.

I understand that a lot of pro athletes rock tattoos, and it’s totally within Lonzo’s rights to switch up his look. But this looks terrible on him. Sleeves are for rough bikers and chefs in Manhattan that make a mean herb-crusted pork tenderloin in a balsamic reduction.
You can’t rock a sleeve tattoo if you’re the son of Lavar Ball. Lest we forget that Lavar Ball basically bullies the NBA into letting his sons play, bullies CNN anchors into thanking him for interviews, and pretty much rules his sons’ lives — even when they’re over in Lithuania.
Lavar Ball could pull off a sleeve tattoo because he’s a big baller. Lonzo Ball might be able to pull off more of a lower back tattoo that says, “Live Laugh Love.” He’s not a big baller yet.
