Clinton was asked at The Atlantic Fest on Tuesday if she is “absolutely certain, 100 percent” that “[Ford’s] recollection is the absolute truth.”

“Look, I watched as much of her testimony as I could,” Clinton started. “I found her very credible.”

“You have to ask yourself, ‘why would anybody put themselves through this if they did not believe that they had important information to convey to the Senate?'” she continued. “I found her presentation, I found her willingness to say, ‘I don’t remember that but I remember this,’ to be very convincing.”

Clinton has previously said that all women who claim they have been sexually assaulted deserve to be believed.

Ford claims that Kavanaugh groped her and covered her mouth with his hand to prevent her from screaming at a high school party in the summer of 1982. (RELATED: NBC Stealth Edits Article Accusing Kavanaugh Of Perjury)
