Andrian Candu

Speaker, Parliament of Moldova

Andrian Candu is the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. A member of Parliament since 2010, he also previously served as Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy. Mr. Candu also spent time in the private sector, serving as director general of Prime Management and senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Candu holds a master’s degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, having taken a Postgraduate Programme in International Tax Law at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Babes-Bolyai University.
