Executive Director, Smoke Free Alternatives Trade AssociationImmediately prior to taking over as Executive Director of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA), Cynthia worked as Vice President of Logistics and Compliance for VMR Products, LLC., a leading electronic cigarette company and founding member of SFATA.<br /> <br /> AT VMR Products, she became an authority on e-cigs, and eventually project manager in charge of creating and implementing the strategic vision for SFATA; in April of 2013, she moved into a full-time role at SFATA as Executive Director. <br /> <br /> Cynthia has 20 years experience in logistics management; 7 years experience in Lean Management and served as Lead Consultant and owner of Global Solutions & Services, Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to assisting companies and not for profit organizations in implementing Lean Management Principles in their native environments. GSS, Inc. also provided training and facilitation in Logistics Planning and implementation of Lean Principles throughout the Supply Chain.<br /> <br /> As an independent consultant, Cynthia worked with firms such as Apparel Logistics, Mark Two Engineering, Atlas Metals, Inc., Bertram Yachts / Ferretti Group, Stryker Medical, Dixie Landscape, Liz Claiborne, Kellwood Company, Organizer Agami Inc., Pinco Pittsburgh, Timbar Packaging & Supply, Gallery Industries, Trade Center Development Corp., Office of Economic Development / Broward County, Florida, the Guatemala Trade Office, Southern United States Trade Association, La Asociación Nacional del Café and Ventana, SA, Oxfam and World Bank.<br /> <br /> Cynthia also served as an adjunct instructor at Broward College where she developed and taught an adult education course on International Logistics & Trade Management.
