Steve Lonegan is the Director of Monetary Policy at American Principles in Action. Steve previously ran for U.S. Senate in New Jersey as a Republican. Prior to that, he served as the Mayor of Bogota, New Jersey for 12 years and was the Americans for Prosperity New Jersey State Director for 7 years. Having built and managed a number of small businesses, Steve knows how the private sector economy works and has been a vocal defender of limited government, free markets, conservative values and individual liberty. He and his wife Lorraine have two daughters and live in Bogota.
