We have heard more angry attacks on Americans from the so-called peaceful Muslim world for the mere mention that a Koran might be burned than we have ever heard from them in condemning their fellow Muslims for perpetrating terrorist attacks on behalf of their religion. (more)

The so-called “mainstream media” has spent the past week trying to determine how anywhere from one-fifth to one-quarter of the American people could conclude that President Obama is a Muslim.  The commentary has almost universally condemned Americans as “ignorant,” “ill-informed,” “racist,” or “bigoted,” asserting disdainfully that it’s “obvious” that Obama is a Christian. (more)

As many have known for years and warned frequently, the Democratic Party strategy of race-baiting was merely a tactic to gain political power for their White leadership. Sound really cynical? Take a look at the new strategy. Old habits die hard, as the saying goes.  And so, too, do deeply-rooted, institutional policies reflective of a rotten core…like the Democratic Party’s harboring of bold racial animus and disdain while claiming the mantle of “diversity,” and at the same time, employing the most overtly divisive racial political strategies seen in this country during the past 60 years. (more)

Imam Feisal Adbul Rauf and his wife, Daisy Khan, the two halves of the public – and outwardly, “peaceful” – face of the Ground Zero Mosque effort, have proved themselves extremely competent practitioners of modern day media interaction; soft-spoken and articulate, they are faithfully “on-message” with their aspirations to help “bridge” the cultural divide, and to be regarded as the “anti-terrorists.” (more)

Here’s a seemingly simple question:  What is scarier? A loosely organized group of American citizens, expressing their peaceful – if passionate – discontent with their representative government by congregating en masse in a public place? OR, a well-funded, smartly organized, subversive, fearless and deeply militant, ruthlessly committed group of freedom-hating, America-despising, radical Jihadists, plotting further destruction and the violent death of innocent men, women, and children? (more)

In the high-stakes poker game of Washington DC power-politics, Democrats are holding a pair of deuces, but telling Republicans they’ve got a Royal Flush.  Poker is all about bluff, and bluster, and unfounded confidence.  And the rules governing politics aren’t much different.  So, good for the Democrats.  What’s upsetting, though, is that the Republicans are ready to fold, despite holding a Full House, aces high.   It’s pathetic.  And at this particular table – where the minimum bet is the future of America’s free market system – it’s unacceptable. (more)

The man who takes Sachs of gold is the man who makes the rules. President Obama is that man, and Republicans in Congress should demand an independent special prosecutor to investigate the relationship between gold and rulemaking in the executive branch. With nearly a million dollars of Goldman Sachs money in his hip pocket (rendering that institution his most generous ’08 corporate campaign contributor), Obama appears to be ignoring some serious rule-breaking. (more)
