In this ad, Travis Childers and his daughter, Lauren demonstrate a couple of the hallmarks of 2010 political ads in tour de force of terrible performance. Childers, a Blue Dog Democrat who trails his Republican challenger by five points, stresses his “independence” and endorsements from conservative-friendly groups like the NRA and pro-life groups, running like crazy from his party’s agenda. LAS VEGAS (AP) — In the ugliest ad so far in Nevada’s contentious Senate race, Republican Sharron Angle accuses Democrat Harry Reid of helping to put Viagra in the hands of child molesters.
