Al Jazeera is planning to expand into the United States, and the chattering classes are treating it as a simple free speech matter. Let’s not let the Islamic supremacists once again invoke the freedom of speech to kill our freedom of speech. The ruse of using freedom of speech to allow propaganda broadcasts over our airways is another stealth attack on the United States of America. The issue of the expansion of Al Jazeera into the United States can only be likened to an expansion of Goebbels’s media network into the U.S. at the height of World War II. (more)

In the wake of Rep. Peter King’s largely toothless hearings on the radicalization of American Muslims, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin is now scheduling Senate hearings on “Muslim rights.” According to the Washington Times, Durbin claims that “there has been a spike in anti-Muslim bigotry in the last year that demands closer attention.” (more)

The old joke goes something like this: A Native American, a rodeo cowboy, and an exchange student from Yemen find themselves stranded in the airport lounge in Bozeman, Montana after learning their flight has been delayed. After a few awkward attempts at pleasantries, the two Americans discover the young Arab gentleman is a radical Muslim who has come to this country to study engineering. The conversation grinds to a halt, and the rodeo rider pulls his Stetson down over his face to grab a little shut-eye. After a long silence, the Native American says sadly to no one in particular, “Once my people were many. Now they are few. Do you know why that is?” To which the Muslim student replies, “Once my people were few. Now they are many. Do you know why that is?” Another silence and then from under the Stetson comes a response: “It’s because we ain’t played a game of cowboys and Muslims yet, but I reckon it’s a-comin.’” (more)

Coverage of the recent parliamentary elections in Egypt has largely centered on the fact that the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) rigged the election. Many have assumed, amid the descriptions of ballot stuffing, exaggerated voter turnout records, and bullying, that the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated candidates who lost are the real force behind democracy in Egypt. The assumption is not only incorrect, but also dangerous, as the Brotherhood’s actual goals are directly opposed to democracy. The Muslim Brotherhood is the world’s most influential Islamist body, and it’s not about to let democracy get in the way of its commitment to Sharia law and the much-desired Islamic state. Yet, few Americans have ever heard of the organization or of Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Brotherhood’s de facto spiritual leader, though his teaching spreads the Brotherhood’s ideals to millions across the globe. (more)

Conservatives in Congress need to move quickly to staunch the flow of blood, literally, in our military. The Fort Hood shootings proved convincingly that political correctness is lethal. Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey ran to the Sunday talk shows to say it would be a “tragedy” if our diversity were a casualty of this incident. No, General, it was your misguided approach to diversity that led scores of officers to look the other way as Nidal Hasan breathed mutiny and sedition daily — for years. (more)

Gateway Pundit is reporting on another homegrown jihad-loving college student who is on the crew team.  Think Zachary Chesser.  There must be something about rowing really hard that makes these folks angry.  Or maybe it’s a subtle confusion between the term ‘coxless pair’ and a future meeting with their 72 2.5 million virgins. (more)

A few hours before my father died coming on for three years ago I became a U.S. citizen, joining about 80 or so others in a hall in Baltimore’s federal building in a naturalization process that included Africans, Asians, Europeans, South Americans and, dare I say it, Arabs. The World’s religions were also represented that chilly day – there were Christians, Jews and Muslims. (more)

The current controversy in New York City over the construction of an “Islamic Center” at Ground Zero reveals a lot more about leftists in positions of influence – Democratic politicians, pundits and others who should know better – and demonstrates their total lack of understanding of political Islam and the increasing danger it represents for all of America. (more)
