Peyton Manning: Coach Summitt Meant A ‘Great Deal To Me’ [VIDEO]

Former NFL star Peyton Manning weighed in on the death former Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt.

“Pat meant a great deal to me. It’s obviously a very sad day for the Tennessee family. Sad day for everyone that ever came into contact with Pat Summitt, and felt the impact that she had on them,” Manning told ESPN. (RELATED: Legendary Basketball Coach Pat Summitt Dies)

WATCH:

Summitt, who won eight national championships with the Volunteers, died early Tuesday morning after battles with multiple medical conditions.

There’s no doubt that the world lost one of the greatest athletic coaches to ever live when Pat Summitt died this morning.
