Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw an impressive dart to Marvin Jones Jr. during training camp.

I know it’s only training camp, but I can’t get enough of these highlights. The Lions had an atrocious 2018 season.

It was awful by every single metric and measurement. We entered the season with tons of hype, and then we got annihilated on a week in and week out basis.

That wasn’t really Stafford’s fault, but there’s no doubt the team rides and dies by his arm. Judging from what we’ve seen from training camp, he’s going to be slinging it this upcoming season.

The offense has absolutely loaded up in the offseason, and we might have the best running back situation in Stafford’s career with Kerryon Johnson lined up behind him.

If we can’t get the ball rolling this year, then I’m not sure we ever will.

Luckily, I’m not worried. With the weapons around Stafford this season, I think we’re in for big things. If he’s already throwing the ball this well in August, we have nothing to be worried about.
