Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach has been handed a fat contract to take over the Bulldogs.
According to Brett McMurphy, Leach was lured away from Washington State by MSU with a four-year contract worth $20 million. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Do you know my reaction to this contract? He’s worth every penny. Mike Leach is worth every damn penny he’s being paid by Mississippi State.
Hell, he’s probably worth a lot more than what MSU is paying him, but making $5 million a year to coach football is no joke.
That’s some serious cash for Leach.

MSU is going to look back at this contract in a decade and view it as one of the greatest investments the school ever made.
Handing Leach $20 million will pay off many times over in spades. That man knows how to coach, and MSU most certainly wasn’t going to get anybody better.

Now, it’s time for Leach to prepare for the grind of an SEC season. I have no doubt he’s going to tear it up down in Starkville.
It’s going to be one hell of a fun ride!
