Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame will officially be played under the lights.

After an initial report the game between the Badgers and Fighting Irish would be played at night, Wisconsin officially announced a kickoff time of 7:30 EST (6:30 CST) Oct. 3rd at Lambeau Field. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

This is what I’m talking about. This is what fans of college football live for. This is what it’s all about. There’s nothing like playing under the lights.

Inject this night time kickoff right into my veins. I’m ready to run through a concrete barrier right now. Notre Dame has no idea what’s coming for them.

Do I wish it was at Camp Randall? Sure, but playing at Lambeau isn’t a bad alternative. I understand why Notre Dame would want to play at a neutral site.

Playing in Madison would be the same as willingly walking into a buzzsaw. It wouldn’t be a football game at Camp Randall.

It’d be a nationally televised massacre.

I hope you’re all as excited as I am because this will be without a doubt one of the biggest games of the year.

The Fighting Irish are going to come to Wisconsin, and we’re going to put them into the dirt.

Major shoutout to all the people who made sure this game was played at night. There’s a very good chance you’ll see me in Green Bay to watch the beat down that will be Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame.
