Ben Affleck tried to get some info from Patriots star Tom Brady on the quarterback’s future, but didn’t get much in return.
Affleck appeared on ESPN for a round of interviews Tuesday, and revealed that he texted the six-time Super Bowl champion about what his future plans might include. “What’s the deal? You going or you staying? And this is what we got back, an emoji [shrug gesture],” Affleck explained.

Even members of the Boston elite don’t know what Brady is going to do. If he’s not going to tell a diehard fan like Affleck, then he’s probably not going to tell many people.
I’ve been saying from the jump that the only person right now who knows for sure is Tom Brady. Everyone else is just guessing.
You can disagree all you want, but there’s nobody out there who seems to know a single thing.

I do appreciate the fact Affleck at least tried to get answers for the people. Somebody has to find out, and he’s got a better shot at success than most of us.
I guess he’ll just have to go back to waiting. At least he gave it a shot. I think he deserves props for that.
