The NHL will reportedly start camps again in June.

According to John Scott, the league is preparing to have players in camp starting June 1, and players are in the process for returning. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

It’s unclear when games will get going again. The NHL suspended play in March amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Let’s hope the NHL is actually nearing a return. We desperately need sports back, and I’m missing the hell out of hockey.

June 1 is still pretty far off, and the situation surrounding coronavirus is obviously incredibly fluid. Things can change at any time.

Having said that, if players are in camps by June 1, then we’re probably going to have games again by the end of June/early July.

Where will they be played? Well, that’s a question that I simply don’t have an answer to at this time. There’s been chatter about playing them in North Dakota, and I think that’d be pretty cool.

All I know for sure is that we have to get something! Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope the NHL has its wheels turning by June. That’d certainly be a win for America in the war against coronavirus!
