NFL free agent Terrelle Pryor is trying to get back into the NFL.

Pryor told TMZ in a Sunday interview that there have been talks with five NFL teams about potentially returning, but it doesn’t look like anything is too concrete. Pryor didn’t play last season, and suffered a horrific stabbing during an alleged domestic violence incident back in November. You can watch and listen to him break it all down below.

I don’t want to sound pessimistic, but I don’t love Pryor’s chances of getting back into the NFL. He wasn’t on a roster last season when the year started, and then was severely wounded when Shalaya Briston allegedly stabbed him.

He’s facing an assault charge over the alleged incident, and Briston is also facing an assault charge.

Outside of Pryor’s issues off of the field, he’s also a wide receiver on the wrong side of 30. Everyone knows receivers drop off a cliff generally once they hit 30.

Pryor is 31, didn’t play a snap of football in 2019, and was brutally stabbed. None of that adds up to a great outlook for playing in the NFL again.

As a betting man, I’d bet Pryor has played the last of his NFL ball. I could be wrong, but I don’t see anything that convinces me there’s more pro football in the former Ohio State star’s future.
