President Donald Trump thinks canceling college football is a horrible idea.
Right now, the fate of college football is up in the air as we continue to battle the coronavirus pandemic, but things aren’t looking good. In fact, some conferences have already shut down. President Trump thinks that’s dumb and unnecessary, and it’ll only get worse if it expands. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
“I think football is making a tragic mistake,” Trump explained during a Tuesday interview with Clay Travis. You can hear his full thoughts below.
I couldn’t agree more with Trump if I tried. Canceling football will go down as one of the dumbest decisions made in my lifetime.
We can absolutely safely play the game, which is a point that has been routinely pointed out by coaches at monster institutions.
The games simply have to happen. We don’t have any choice. This country needs football, the players want to play, coaches want to coach and fans want to drink beer and celebrate the greatest sport in the USA.
Despite the best efforts of the elites to cancel football, it looks like we saved the season.
Players and coaches are in open revolt against cancelations, Trump is involved and schools fear boosters withholding money.
It’s not over, but it’s looking much better. Keep fighting!

There’s still a long road ahead of us in this fight, and we can’t give up. Things might be looking good, but we can still swing things back in our favor.
We have to fight to save football until the brutal end! We’re saving the soul of the country, and I’m glad to have President Trump in the fight.
