The Big 10 is back to focusing on playing football in early 2021.
According to Dan Patrick, a source of his told him that the Thanksgiving plan is a “long shot” and a late January 2021 start is more realistic. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The source also told him that the B1G is now trying to “save face” after canceling games in the fall during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Big 10 circus just never ends. We’re going to adjust the fall 2021 season so that we can play in the winter?
Cowardly Kevin needs to go, and every single B1G leader who allowed us to get to this point needs to follow him out the door.
There’s no reason we can’t be playing football as scheduled in the fall, and that’s obvious to everyone.

Unfortunately, the Big 10 simply won’t admit the conference was wrong, apologize and reverse course. No, that’d all be way too simple.
Instead, we have to continue to talk about half-cocked plans that make next to no sense. Again, why wasn’t Cowardly Kevin fired the day football was canceled?

At this point, I refuse to believe we’ll be back to playing football at any point before fall 2021. I could be wrong, but this chaos doesn’t inspire a lot of hope.
