Oklahoma vs. Missouri State will reportedly be on pay-per-view.
According to Dave Wilson, the September 12 game will be on pay-per-view for $54.99, which seems a bit high for a guaranteed blowout. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Oklahoma’s Sept. 12 season-opener against Missouri State is going to be $54.99 on pay-per-view.

This is going to be fascinating to watch unfold. I can’t ever remember anything like happening in college football.
A PPV college football game? Yeah, that’s going to move the needle for sure. The main question is, will anyone outside of Oklahoma fans care enough to buy it?

If a ton of PPVs are sold, will this become the new normal in college football? I have so many questions about how this will work.
Again, there’s next to no shot this game is close at halftime. So, you’re more or less throwing away $55 for a quarter and half of close football.
If a ton of people do it, imagine how many people might spend big money on Ohio State vs. Michigan or any other major rivalry game.
The numbers could be borderline pornographic.
