Minnesota vs. Northwestern has been canceled.

The Gophers announced Monday that the game against the Wildcats set for Saturday has been canceled because of coronavirus issues within the program. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Team activities remain paused for Minnesota, and the game won’t be rescheduled.

The Big 10 is an absolute disaster right now. With zero built in bye weeks, no games are being rescheduled when canceled because of coronavirus.

They’re just being straight up canceled and they’re not being made up. The mismanagement of the season by B1G leaders is nothing short of atrocious.

We didn’t need to be in this situation.

I feel so bad for all the players and coaches involved. Instead of trying to create a schedule where games could be made up, the B1G handcuffed itself to a terrible situation.

Now, we’re losing games left and right, and the Minnesota/Northwestern game is just the latest one to fall.

Keep in mind, Minnesota also didn’t play last Saturday against Wisconsin. It’s just a terrible situation all the way around.

As we all know, this situation will get worse. You can bet on that happening.
