Miles parted ways with the Jayhawks after allegations of misconduct while at LSU in 2013 became public. Long was the man responsible for bringing Miles to Lawrence, Kansas.

The hits just keep on coming for the Kansas Jayhawks. Just in case you didn’t think things were bad, this should eliminate any doubt.
A week ago, everything was fine for the most part. They weren’t winning football games, but things were fine.
Now, it’s Wednesday, and the head football coach and the athletic director responsible for hiring him is gone with him.
The 2013 internal investigation into Les Miles has been released.
In it, he is accused of kissing a female student twice, texting many, taking them to his condo alone and making them uncomfortable.

I think it’s fair to say we all knew this was coming. The moment Miles was out, we all knew Long likely wasn’t far behind.
Now, it’s reportedly a done deal.
Per Les Miles’ settlement agreement with Kansas, he’s paid almost $2 million and the sides won’t sue each other.
There’s also a non-disparagement clause, if you’re wondering why last night’s statement didn’t mention the LSU investigation. pic.twitter.com/MNpfoHYTe0

What an absolute disaster of a situation for everyone involved.
