In case you think Burrow feels bad for pouring it on a rival, he absolutely doesn’t.

“This is the NFL. This isn’t peewee, this isn’t high school where you go out and run up the score. You play until the final whistle. I don’t care what the score is. We’ve been in spots where teams go out and do that to us. They did it to us last year. No sympathy from me,” Burrow said when discussing the lopsided game after beating the Ravens by three touchdowns, according to ProFootballTalk.

This is the NFL, ladies and gentlemen. If you don’t want to get blown out, then I suggest you find a way to stop the other team from getting in the end zone.

It’s truly that simple. If you don’t want to look up at the scoreboard and see a lopsided result, find a way to stop your opponents.

I guess it’s just the latest example of how soft some people have become that we’re even having this conversation.

Imagine people complaining about an NFL score between rivals 20 years ago. It’d never happen! In 2021, I’m not even surprised.

If you want to complain about scores, go watch soccer and leave football to the rest of us!
