Antonio Brown’s lawyer Sean Burstyn sent multiple tweets Sunday alleging the Buccaneers mistreated his client.

The Bucs cut Brown last week after his insane meltdown against the Jets, and the chaos and carnage surrounding the situation has been nothing short of shocking. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Now, his lawyer is trying to regain control of the narrative.

Burstyn tweeted that the situation surrounding AB’s medical treatment was a “surprise attack,” and that Brown was cut for more or less missing an appointment.

“AB was fired for not attending a doctor’s appointment that was in the process of being rescheduled to a normal time and after the doctor reviewed the relevant medical records,” Burstyn added.

I’m not a lawyer, but this Twitter thread certainly seems to be laying the groundwork for some legal action. At least, that’s how I read it.

It seems like Burstyn is trying to make it clear that in the view of his client, he was mistreated and did nothing wrong.

Now, would the Bucs agree with that? Almost certainly not, and that’s why they might have to battle it out!

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out, but the Bucs are now ready for the playoffs as AB is sitting at home. As a betting man, I’d bet we’ve seen the last of him in the NFL, but anything can happen!
