Famous rapper Nas’ home was reportedly burglarized over the weekend as two culprits made off with an undisclosed number of his personal items.

Law enforcement sources said two men broke into Nas’s residence in Calabasas, California, Saturday at 8:30 p.m. by smashing through a rear door, according to TMZ. The artist was not home at the time, but the Ring camera installed on the property notified his team of the residential disruption, according to TMZ.

Nas was out of town at the time of the robbery. He was in New York City at an album release party when two male suspects reportedly broke into the house. They reportedly tore the house apart, with cameras showing the two suspects exiting the rapper’s home with at least two bags full of stolen items, according to TMZ.

Police responded to the scene of the crime but the suspects in question had already left the property by the time they arrived, sources reportedly told TMZ. (RELATED: Singer’s Home Was Robbed While She Was Inside With Her Baby)

At this time it is unclear what the items were that they made off with. Nas remains out of town and will have to return home to assess the damage and make a inventory list of which items were removed during the robbery, according to TMZ.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating this matter. Nas has not released a public comment about this matter, according to TMZ.
