What a horrible move by WWE.
Both Mandy Rose’s historic 413-day run as NXT Women’s Champion and her stint with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have reportedly ended within a day.
WWE made the move to release Rose after edgy content she posted of herself circulated online, originating from her personal FanTime page, according to the New York Post. FanTime, which is similar to OnlyFans, allows users to pay a monthly subscription fee in order to see exclusive content from the owner of the page.
Rose’s FanTime rate is listed at $40 per month. Recently, racy photos of her and her fiancé Tino Sabbatelli in the shower together went viral, the NY Post reported.

It’s so obvious what this whole thing must be about.
A top issue for WWE is that business ventures outside of the company have to go through them first, the NY Post continued. So this whole thing probably has nothing to do with sex, and everything to do with money. WWE sexualized the hell out of Mandy Rose’s character — it seems they built this walking aphrodisiac themselves.
And if it does have something to do with sex (which I’m quite positive it does not), then how incredibly hypocritical of WWE. This is the same WWE who had the infamous Attitude Era, which was full of sexual content — and, quite frankly, myself and a lot of other professional wrestling fans enjoyed it. (The Attitude Era totally needs to make a comeback.)
Do we all remember the D-Generation X days?

That’s the current boss of WWE, by the way.
It sounds like WWE got mad at Mandy Rose for not running things by them and not letting them get any nickels and dimes out of the deal.
And I’m not the only one thinking this:
WWE has a long history of exploiting women’s bodies.
WWE once supported its talents posing for Playboy.
WWE, allegedly, asked female wrestlers to “dress sexy” as recently as Oct. 2021.
Mandy Rose wasn’t fired for sexy photos. She was fired because WWE couldn’t monetize them.

What a disaster for WWE. They reportedly let go of one of their biggest and sexiest superstars, potentially because of a few pennies (and, not to mention, decimated a top faction in Toxic Attraction in the process). It’s an outright disaster. Say what you want about Rose apparently breaching her contract, but both things can be true: she may have breached it, but it seems like WWE made a massively hypocritical move driven by a couple of quarters. Triple H, I suggest you re-think this, because I assure you that Roxanne Perez isn’t carrying the NXT brand.
In the meantime, I’ll be supporting my girl Mandy.
