Christina Applegate gave a graphic description of her symptoms after contracting Sapovirus from eating a contaminated salad.

The famous actress said she has been wearing diapers for the past three weeks after somehow ingesting another human’s fecal matter and contracting Sapovirus. She said she narrowed the unpleasant experience down to a salad that was compromised, while discussing the matter on her “MeSsy” podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

“Someone else’s poop went into my mouth and I ate it,” Applegate said. She went on to share details of her symptoms, saying she was “pissing out of my ass for a few days.”

The star revealed that she was also suffering from Covid-19 at the same time, which made matters more complicated, since she was already immunocompromised as a result of her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.

Applegate didn’t hold back when describing her poop-filled experience.

She shared that she had to collect a sample of her own fecal matter for testing, which is how she discovered she had contracted Sapovirus, and went on to say she vomited while collecting her own sample, making the situation dramatically more challenging.

She said it was “real fun” when she woke up at 3 am “in a pool of shit.”

“Having MS at three o’clock in the morning and trying to change your sheets, it’s not fun,” she said on the podcast.

Applegate poked fun at her own misfortune, asking Sigler “Why do they make them pretty for women?”

“Like, … ‘Hey baby, you wanna get down and dirty with my pretty diaper lingerie, with my own urine?” she added.
