Police in Pennsylvania arrested a man for allegedly recording himself having sex with a pony and showing the video to children, authorities said.

Eastern Adams Regional Police detained Shawn Hirschbine on Tuesday on a West Virginia warrant charging him with distributing obscene material to children, including bestiality images transmitted via internet, the Gettysburg Times reported.

After Hirschbine was arrested on the obscene material charge, police found dozens of animals living in “horrendous” conditions on a former school bus and trailer he reportedly lived in, according to the Gettysburg Times. Among the animals found was a pony that Hirschbine allegedly had sex with, CBS21 reported.

The Adams County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ACSPCA) also found a bull in the trailer that was allegedly used for “beastiality purposes,” according to CBS21.

Besides the pony and bull, the ACSPCA reported in a Facebook post that it had removed “30 birds (chickens, roosters, ducks & turkeys), 4 dogs (3 German Shepherds & 1 Australian Shepherd)” from Hirschbine’s bus.

“This is not something we see everyday and it’s not something we ever want to see again,” the ACSPCA wrote in the post.

“We are doing DNA analysis for human DNA inside of the animals at this time to see if there will be any sex charges in Pennsylvania,” ACSPCA Shelter Director Abigail Avery told the Gettysburg Times.

The DNA results could take months to produce and it’s possible that Hirschbine might not face any charges in Pennsylvania if the tests come back negative, CBS21 reported.

ACSPCA officials said they hope Hirschbine remains locked up until the DNA results come in.
