Fox News’ Bill Hemmer broke down presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s “blue wall” strategy Friday on “America’s Newsroom.”

President Joe Biden’s campaign released an internal memo obtained by The Hill stating that winning Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania offers the clearest path to reelection. Hemmer explained that the Trump campaign alao discussed the three crucial states, and if Trump were to “break” the “blue wall” in at least one of them, he’d have a “real good chance” of retaking the White House.

“Chris LaCivita talked about Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Somehow if Trump can break this blue wall, even one of those states, he’s got a real good chance of getting a second term,” Hemmer said.

Hemmer added Arizona was also a focal point for Republicans.

In 2020, Biden took all four battleground states.

Biden took Michigan by 2.7% and Pennsylvania by 1.17% of the vote and Wisconsin by 0.62%  and Arizona by 0.3%.

Trump currently leads Biden in Pennsylvania by 5.3% and 5.4% in Arizona, according to the RealClearPolitics average. Additionally, the Republican candidate leads Biden by 2.6% in Wisconsin and 0.6% in Michigan. Biden’s support has declined since his poor debate performance June 27 against Trump.

The Biden campaign is reportedly testing how Vice President Kamala Harris polls against Trump, sources told The New York Times and CBS News.

18 congressional Democrats have called on Biden to step aside, with Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett leading the charge July 2, five days after debate.

ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos revealed Tuesday that he did not think Biden “can serve four more years.”

In late June, The New York Times’ editorial board published a story titled, “To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave the Race.”

Trump has not shied away from campaigning in swing states and Democratic strongholds, holding a historic rally in the South Bronx in May.
