Spain rules Europe once again!
The nation won the Euro 2024 championship Sunday after achieving a 2-1 victory in the final against England. It’s the second-straight final defeat the latter has suffered after the Three Lions took a 2021 loss to Italy by penalties. Things got off to a slow start thanks to pacing and confusing play from the English, particularly on the offensive side.
What is England doing on offense?
They’ll find themselves in the last third, but then there’s nothing but Spaniards surrounding only one or two English players. Nobody’s coming in, no support whatsoever for the dribbler.
There seems to be no game plan from Gareth Southgate.

Things, however, got cooking in the second half when forward Nico Williams put Spain on the board following a pass from forward Lamine Yamal, with the goal coming just two minutes in.
