Clint Eastwood’s Longtime Partner, Christina Sandera, Dead At 61

Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood’s partner for the past decade, died at the age of 61.

“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” the legendary actor said in a statement released Thursday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The circumstances surrounding Sandera’s death were not publicly shared. A spokesperson from Warner Bros. notified the press that no further information would be forthcoming, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Eastwood and Sandera reportedly met when she was working as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

They began dating and have been together ever since.

Sandera accompanied Eastwood to the 2015 Academy Awards, marking the couple’s red carpet debut, according to Page Six.

The famous actor and director kept the details of their relationship away from the media, and has been quiet about his personal affairs.

The Golden Globe winner’s first marriage was to model Maggie Johnson, in 1953. The relationship ended  11 years later. Eastwood went on to marry journalist Dina Ruiz. The couple was together from 1996 to 2014.

He was previously involved in a long relationship with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis,  as well as Oscar-nominated actress Sondra Locke. Eastwood and Locke were partners for 14 years and mixed business with pleasure by making four movies together, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was also linked to flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves and actress Frances Fisher as part of his dating history.

Eastwood’s 40th film as a director, Juror No. 2, a project that was announced in April 2023, is in postproduction at this time.
