Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, was injured in a collision while riding his electric bicycle in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 20-year-old was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to TMZ. Pax was riding his electric bike on Los Feliz Blvd at roughly 5pm, which put him into a high-traffic area, in the middle of rush hour. Law enforcement officials reported that he rammed his bike into the back of a car that was stopped at an intersection, according to TMZ.

The driver of the vehicle excited the car to check on Pax, and remained on-scene. Police and paramedics rushed to the the scene of the incident to provide medical care.

Witnesses to the accident reported that Pax was experiencing hip pain and was suffering from an apparent head injury, according to TMZ. The medical team that had arrived to assist Pax feared he may have had a minor brain bleed as a result of the impact of the crash, so he was immediately rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital for further testing and treatment, according to TMZ.

Latest reports indicated that Jolie and Pitt’s son was in stable condition and there was a chance that he would be released from the hospital, Tuesday, according to TMZ.

The paparazzi have snapped a number of images of Pax on an electric bike in recent weeks, and he is almost always photographed without a helmet on.
