President Obama said today that the United States is on “the right path” toward a better understanding of the Muslim world, though more work remains to be done.
At a news conference with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Obama said he doesn't think “we’re going to completely eliminate some of the misunderstandings and mistrust that have developed.”
