Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann and singer Lady Gaga both appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday, the congresswoman wearing white and the Grammy Award winning artist in a condom outfit.

Though Lady Gaga and Bachmann appeared on the show at different times, anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Bachmann what she thought of the “monster” pop sensation.

“You know, I don’t really know that much about Lady Gaga,” Bachmann said through stifled giggles. “I hate to say it, I have a lot of children, but I don’t know that much about Lady Gaga.”

Not all political figures are oblivious to Lady Gaga. Last week, The Daily Caller reported that New York Democratic Rep. Ed Towns would be holding a fundraiser at one of Lady Gaga’s concerts.

During Thursday’s show, Lady Gaga showed up in a condom-inspired latex outfit to start a dialogue about “safe sex.”

“Today was a latex condom inspired outfit because we had to talk about safe sex,” Lady Gaga said. “I really wanted to head to toe to be representative of what we women and people all over the world need to be concerned about which is the leading cause of death in women all around the world which is HIV.”
