Feminists declare Romney-Ryan ‘The most dangerous men in America’

The National Organization for Women, a liberal women’s advocacy group, declared Tuesday night that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running-mate Paul Ryan are “The most dangerous men in America.”

According to NOW president Terry O’Neill, the Republican ticket’s opposition to federal funding for Planned Parenthood, support for the personhood of unborn children, and opposition to the Obamacare contraception mandate make Romney and Ryan a serious threat to American women.

“In the coming days and weeks, right up until November 6, NOW will reach out to voters to drive home the message that our choice could not be clearer: President Obama represents the pathway to equality,” O’Neill wrote in a Tuesday night fundraising plea to supporters. “But a Romney-Ryan administration spells danger for women — women are the targets or the disproportionate casualties in virtually every policy Romney and Ryan propose.”

The liberal women’s group claims that the choice is clear, President Barack Obama’s support for the Lily Ledbetter Act, gay marriage, and Obamacare make him the only choice for women. The Romney-Ryan ticket’s focus on budget restraint, specifically cuts to social programs, make them a dangerous choice for women.

Naturally, NOW supporters can “help stop the most dangerous men in America” with donations starting at $15.

“Romney needs the women’s vote to win this election. Let’s make sure he doesn’t. Together, we can win the War on Women,” O’Neill concluded, ending her fundraising pitch with the sign-off “For women’s lives.”
