Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan compared the Obama administration’s bean-counters to the National Football League’s replacement referees during a rally in Cincinnati Tuesday.
After bemoaning the Green bay Packers’ loss Monday night due to a replacement official’s questionable call, Ryan said the hapless referees might as well work in the Obama budget office.
“They’re trying to pick the winners and losers and they don’t even do that very well,” said Ryan. “It is time to get the real refs, and it reminds me of President Obama and the economy. If you can’t get it right, then it’s time to get out.”
