Oh, sorry: “zygote.”
Courtesy of the Texas Tribune:
The best part is when she talks about what a dud her boyfriend is while he’s sitting right there. Well, she puts it more euphemistically: “We looked at the health of our relationship, how long we had been together… Do we have enough built as a foundation to create a loving, happy, healthy family?” Guess not! She should’ve just said, “Remember, honey, when we talked about how disappointed I am in you? Of course you don’t. Just like you never remember to take out the garbage.”
So, anyway. Then her abortion got cancelled, and it was just so awful. Who can put up with killing their offspring with all that paperwork? Damn you, Rick Perry!
If this little propaganda piece doesn’t convince you, there’s good reason. As Mollie Hemingway reports at The Federalist:
What’s really interesting about this story is how it came to be told. The Tribune’s video of the calm and composed couple was posted on November 3. Here’s what Marni was doing on the day of her canceled abortion…
@TheFix My Austin abortion scheduled for today was cancelled and I’m flying to Seattle. Hear my story. @marnijade

@abbyohlheiser my Texas abortion was cancelled today and I am flying to Washington state. hear my story @marnijade

We all tweet to the Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza about our abortions, right?
…Now, maybe Marni Evans just happened to deal with her abortion situation via a savvy public relations campaign. And maybe Marni Evans just happened to echo the sentiments and rhetoric of a big new abortion rights campaign built around efforts to destigmatize the legal practice of killing the babies growing within our wombs.
Or maybe this is astroturfing.
If you want to know what Evans does for a living, so do I. Especially after reading her “About” page:
Trained as an architect, Marni Jade Evans, LEED AP BD + C, is a sustainability
educator, consultant and mentor as founder of the Austin, TX based office.
With thirteen years of professional sustainability experience, Marni possesses a deep passion for transformation of the development industry, after a spiritual awakening led her to question conventional process and unsustainable patterns in the way we design and build today.
Her spark has ignited individuals and organizations to pursue deep green solutions- be it career transitions into sustainability or pursuit of the Living Building Challenge.
If that makes sense to you, either you live in Austin or you want to. But it sounds like she’s taking her passion for “sustainability” to a new level. What’s less sustainable than raising a kid who’s just going to have a big carbon footprint and kill all the polar bears and make Al Gore cry?
You should read Mollie’s whole article. These pro-abortion people are shady, dishonest creeps. And leftists. But I repeat myself.
The Texas Tribune is a non-profit, by the way. “Non-partisan.” Because what’s less partisan than abortion propaganda?
