Someone is trying to spread a little love in the halls of congress.

There is mistletoe hanging in the elevators in Rayburn House Office building, according to an instagram photo from Democratic Minnesota Rep. Rick Nolan.

“#Mistletoe in the Rayburn Building elevator?” Nolan wrote along with the photograph.

Nolan’s communications director, Steve Johnson, confirmed that the picture was for real.

“We would never joke about something like that,” he told The Daily Caller.

So far, the only person to comment on the photo is Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

“We need all the love we can get in DC now! #everylittlebithelps,” she wrote.

For those of you unfamiliar with the tradition, when you find yourself standing under mistletoe with another person, you two are supposed to kiss. Choose your elevator companions wisely this holiday season.
